Meetings of Bitterne Local History Society are held on the second Saturday of each month (except August) at 7.00pm in Bitterne United Reformed Church (entrance in the Precinct, next to Bitterne Churchyard). Locate the Church using: Google Maps, OpenStreetMap.

Reports are made on the activities of the various committees, society news etc. usually followed by talks, frequently illustrated with slide shows or video, on a variety of topics.
