The Grove Tavern

68-70 Swift Road, Woolston

Dates from 1930s but built on the site of an old beer-house.
Built by Brickwood’s of Portsmouth who were taken over by Whitbread’s in 1971.
Closed in 2017 the site is now occupied by as six houses.
