Dierdre has been a member of BLHS for thirty years. In the past she helped her husband Denis, also a member until his sad passing five years ago, to give this talk about a member of his family.
This is the story of a local teenager who is accused, and convicted, of stealing a sheep, resulting in his transportation to Tasmania early in the 19th century. It follows his story while there, including the results of inviting his family to join him.
