Schools Educational Resource Boxes
Available for loan to schools are a series of Educational Resource Boxes which are packed with fascinating artefacts, documents, toys and memorabilia from bygone days.
The boxes have been developed for curriculum support and reflect the topics covered in the National Curriculum. They are normally loaned for a period of two weeks. One box costs £10 per week. Further boxes loaned at the same time are charged at £5 per week.
They are available from our Schools Liaison Officer at BLHS Museum & Heritage Centre and may be collected, and returned, by agreement.
Because all schools cover these topics seasonal demand is likely so early booking is advisable and prompt return expected. All arrangements are to be made through our Schools Liaison Officer: Email Alex.

Retirement Homes / Theatre Groups / Other Organisations
Bespoke selections can be prepared for Retirement Homes, Theatre Groups and other organisations. These will be subject to the availability of appropriate artifacts and sufficient lead times to allow preparation. Prices will depend on contents and the duration of hire.
