Dates back to early 1870’s when William Wyatt was landlord.
Originally the private residence of John Sennet, founder of the local Weslyan Chapel.
As a pub its owners have been Aldridge’s Bedford Brewery.
Later belonging to Brickwood’s Brewery and was part of the Whitbread’s group when finally closed in 1974.
